ValleyPBS Families is the family outreach and educational arm of the Valley PBS station in Fresno, California. The director had been DIYing their website to get information out to the families - but she was ready to hand over the reins and step up their online presence! We wanted to brand the site as approachable, helpful, and ACTIONABLE to get families involved!

Special Features:

• Multilingual: ValleyPBS Families serves a diverse population, so a Spanish translation was needed for every page, event, and post. We worked with a translator to create two versions of the site - English and Spanish.
• Events Calendar: ValleyPBS Families offers hundreds recurrent and one-time events - that require directions, descriptions, and registration info. We put together an extensive events calendar to help get more families involved. We used a dozen filters for locations, types of events, and more to help increase the ability to find what users are looking for.
• Employment Application: ValleyPBS Families relies on lots of volunteers and employees to execute their programs - so making the forms digital helps make the process smoother.
